Beyond The Games

The Powered by Invictus Virtual Sporting Leagues are back for 2026 — refreshed, refocused, and ready to keep you moving throughout the year.

Whether you’re returning to the leagues or joining for the first time, this is your chance to get involved, challenge yourself, and connect with others around the world as part of the Invictus community.

What are the Powered by Invictus Leagues?

Launched in 2021 in collaboration with our technology partners at ReSport, the leagues bring together members of the global Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) community through friendly, virtual competition.

Open to all members of the We Are Invictus platform, the leagues are designed to help you:

  • stay active

  • set personal goals

  • share progress and achievements

  • feel part of a supportive, international network

The We Are Invictus platform is open to all members of the international WIS community. Whether or not your nation has competed at the Invictus Games or is part of the Invictus Community of Nations, you can join here.

You can take part in one sport or all four. Each performance you log contributes to a global leaderboard, helping you track your improvement over time and celebrate your achievements — wherever you are in the world.

For 2026, the leagues have been streamlined to focus on four core sports:
  • Athletics / Track

  • Cycling

  • Swimming

  • Rowing

Each sport features one distance challenge per quarter.

Between 1 January and 31 March 2026, you can submit up to 12 entries per sport. Your best performance during the quarter will appear on the leaderboard.

You can complete your challenges wherever you train best — on the track, on the road, in the gym, or in the pool. It’s about finding what works for you, your recovery, and your routine.

Quarter 1 Challenges (1 January – 31 March 2026)

  • Athletics / Track League: Fastest 5KM Run, Walk, or Push

  • Cycling League: Fastest 20KM Ride (indoor or outdoor)

  • Swimming League: Fastest 1KM Swim (pool or open water)

  • Rowing League: Fastest 2KM Indoor Row

How to join

Everyone needs to re-register for 2026, even if you’ve taken part before.

You can register for one, several, or all four leagues — the choice is yours.

To get started:

  • Click on your chosen league. You’ll be redirected to that league’s registration page.

  • Complete the Participant Information Section on that page.

  • Check your email (including junk/spam). You’ll receive a message containing your personal ReSport logging link.

  • Keep this email safe. You will use this unique link to log your times throughout the quarter — and for all future 2026 rounds.

  • Repeat the process for each sport you wish to join.

  • Start training and logging your results — your times will automatically appear on the leaderboard once submitted.

Choose your league(s):

  • Athletics / Track League

  • Cycling League

  • Swimming League

  • Rowing League

Categorisation

Your categorisation is self-determined - simply choose the category that best reflects your injury or illness.

Detailed guidance can be found in sport-specific PDFs on the We Are Invictus platform.

If you are unsure which category fits best, please check the guidance notes in each document or contact wis@invictusgames.org for support.

Step-by-step How-to Guides are available in the sidebar of each registration page.

If you have any questions or encounter issues, please contact the team at wis@invictusgames.org
