As part of our ten-year anniversary, £10,000 is now available to each member of the Invictus Community of Nations as part of our series of ‘Domestic Grants’.

The aim of these grants is to increase access to sporting opportunities for wounded injured and sick service personnel and veterans (WIS) across the twenty-three member nations of the Invictus community, beyond the Games.

Director of Grants and Programmes at the Invictus Games Foundation, Mickaela Richards, said: We are really excited to launch this series this year as part of celebrating 10 years of changing lives and saving lives through sport. These ‘Domestic Grants’ will allow more members of our community to engage with sport and adventurous challenge as a tool for recovery, and allow the Foundation to have a greater impact in local communities across the nations.

These ‘Domestic Grants’ will also allow us to hear directly from the Invictus community on what their needs are and how we best can meet them. We’ve already received some applications for the first domestic grants, and we are excited to see how far reaching their impact will be.”

We welcome applications from organisations not previously affiliated with the Invictus Games or the Invictus Games Foundation. Organisations that are eligible to apply are: registered charities; charitable community groups; Sports Clubs or Associations, and social enterprises. If the application does not total £10,000 then the remainder will be made available to other applications in that country. Applications for activity to be conducted in 2024 are first come first served, with next year’s applications opening from September this year.
