Inaugural Warrior Sailing Cup

Canadian military charity True Patriot Love has announced the inaugural Warrior Sailing Cup, presented by Ultra. The Warrior Sailing Cup will bring together Veterans from Australia, The Netherlands, United States and Canada, all past Invictus Games host nations, with the Invictus Games Foundation supporting the participation of the teams from The Netherlands and Australia.

In partnership with the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, the Cup will run from 31 August – 2 September 2022, in coordination with The Canada’s Cup. The competitors are all wounded injured or sick service personnel and veterans, whose injuries or illnesses occurred while serving their countries.

The aim of the Cup, held in partnership with Warrior Sailing Canada, is to leverage the opportunity to promote the wider use of sailing across Canada (and beyond) in the recovery pathway for wounded injured and sick service personnel and veterans.
