With 10 years’ experience of sport recovery for international wounded injured and sick service personnel and veterans, the Invictus Games Foundation is now hiring an Esports Manager to facilitate the role that gaming and active esports can play in recovery.

Thanks to the continued support of partner Amazon, this new role for the charity will build on the pilots from previous Invictus Games such as the tournament held last year at the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023.

This role will be leading the way in providing expertise and opportunities that are accessible and based on good practice. For example, the Invictus Games Foundation is currently leading on a US Government Grant funded research proposal into building a framework for access to active esports by those with physical disabilities. Ongoing active esports opportunities, such as our regular Sunday Zwift virtual bike ride for the international community, provide a perfect blend of digital and physical activity. Video Gaming esports is our next focus, building on existing research and demand from the community, and facilitated by our partnership with the Global Esports Federation.

We are seeking an innovative go-getter who can hit the ground running, who understands the production values and infrastructure associated with an esports gaming event, with a focus on the individuals and their recovery over elite performance.

The role is a fixed-term 18 month contract, hybrid but with access to London required for meetings, and you must have the right to work in the UK. Deadline for applications is Thursday 28th March, and the salary band is £35k-£40k depending on experience.

Further details for how to apply and the job description can both be found in the job advert link here.
